This is the first swimwear line for parker+paige in their accessories division, which also includes a line of handbags & 2 jewelry lines.

parker+paige recently agreed to host a Fashion Fights Poverty (FFP) intern for one week in July & one week in August during summer 2011 in NYC as a part of a new internship exchange the 2 organizations are partnering on.
parker+paige hopes this will be the first of many future partnerships between the New York fashion company & the D.C. non-profit, who also hopes to place one of its students in a 6-week internship at parker+paige during the fall semester.
parker+paige plans to use this invitation as a test-run for their own internship program, which they hope to launch during the 2011-2012 school year.
Students will have the opportunity to shadow a parker+paige designer as a part of their internship, as well as tour the offices of fashion’s biggest names in online editorial content & dine with some of the industry’s top corporate minds over mentor lunches.
The chosen intern from FFP will catalog her journey on the company’s blog at www.followparkerandpaige.blogspot.com & will have his/her own Twitter handle at www.twitter.com/tweetpandp.
The deal was brokered between Yvette Castro & Paige Lemann, who were first introduced back in September 2007.
