Why We Love RED

Wear RED and you'll always be making a statement.  When you're wearing all black, like so many New Yorkers do, RED is the perfect tone to brighten up any outfit.

This fall, despite all the neutral layering we've seen splashed around the press, we've still managed to find some statement-worthy pieces in sensational shades of RED:

Take this skinny belt from the ADA Collection for just $40.
The perfect accent over any black dress or tan wool coat.
And from now until November 22, SAVE an additional 20% at when you enter "FPSW10" at the time of checkout.

Try comfy flats with the zipper detailing that's been so in lately.  You can find it in these "Cenboa" suede flats from Jessica Simpson for only $69 at, or these "Belle" suede flats by Sigerson Morrison for $225 available at

And if you like Sigerson Morrison as much as we do, they also have a red hot heel number that we adore on  It's these pointed-toe suede ankle strap heel with buckle closure for $595.

But RED can also look great on bigger pieces, such as a purse or coat.  Take this red wool wrap from M Missoni with oversize shawl collar and self-belt tie.  Now 30% off at, making this $575 winter coat, now just $402.50.

While you're pursuing ShopBop, make sure to check out this Marc by Marc Jacobs purse, the "Ozzie Square Lucy Tote".  An Editor's Pick on for $398.

This faux ostrich handbag features a turn-lock closure and metal feet. Gold hardware. Rolled double handles and detachable, adjustable shoulder strap. Print-lined interior features dividing zip compartment, zip pocket, and 2 patch pockets.

Want to add a hint of red to your outfit without being so bold as to carry this bright red tote?

Try something with just a splash of the cherry hue, like this Medium Boston Bag by Gucci, available at for $995.  Its GG fabric with Gucci's signature web detail will give you just a hint of red without splashing it all about.

Whether you want just a little bit, or the whole enchilada, RED is certainly the way to go when you want to add just a hint of color to your wardrobe.  Try it this season.  It may just help you ring in the holiday season.

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton Footwear - NOW Available at Macy's

Back in February the hotel heiress launched her new line of footwear at the Macy's in Orange County, but for the most part - unless you're a die-hard fan or avid Macy's shopper - it's been largely ignored.
But we've got to give the somewhat new shoe line props for being at a price point that's hard to ignore in the current economy.
And when it first launched we weren't about to trek it up to Herald Square and fight traffic on Broadway to get shoved around the always-crowded area of less than affluent shoppers, but NOW you can shop from her new footwear line from the comfort and privacy of your home computer at, where you can search through her collection by size, color, width, and name.

Paris Hilton Footwear, "designed to be chic and trendy, is produced with high quality components and finished with unique details".
Even People StyleWatch featured a pair of her pumps in their last issue as 1 of 7 Sexy Heels, the "Electra" for $89 is a two-tone round toe black stiletto that we will agree isn't half bad.
The collection features a range of styles, from sexy stilettos and platforms to stylish flats, wedges and a sport collection, and each pair of shoes from Paris Hilton Footwear for Macy's is priced between $60 and $160.

"I personally chose the styling, design, materials and colors for the line and also wanted to make sure it was super comfortable! Each shoe has a heart shaped comfort pad sewn into the inner sole... and I made the soles of the shoes pink so no matter how you look at them, they are super cute!" says Paris.
